Barbara Bass

When Gollob Morgan Peddy opened its doors in 1982, Barbara Bass was there as part of the core group that helped get things started. With over four decades of experience, Barbara has lead GMP into a new era of accounting and helped train the over 100 staff members who work for the firm today.

In the office most people just call her Barbara. Around Tyler other people call her Mayor.

Barbara served as Mayor of Tyler for 6 years until term limits kept her from serving longer. While keeping up the pace of a GMP partner, Barbara has been involved in helping with the development of Tyler and the East Texas region.

In addition to serving as Mayor, Barbara has also served as Chairman of the Tyler Economic Development Council, Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau of Central East Texas. Her fingerprint can be found on almost every key economic decision in the region over the past 20 years.

In the office Barbara is a tax specialist who enjoys helping her clients plan and achieve long-term goals.
