“I really didn’t start out with accounting in mind,” says GMP Partner Heather Sellers, “In fact, I changed my major a couple of times before deciding accounting was the way to go. I like the versatility and challenges in the accounting industry.”
Heather Sellers joined Gollob Morgan Peddy in 2014 and quickly moved up the ranks to become partner in 2017.
She found her passion in the construction industry.
“I learned that numbers really MEAN something in the construction industry. The numbers matter in the past, present, and future because a contractor who understands their cost can use history to create meaningful estimates on jobs today. It also allows them to strategize and secure their role as a leader in the industry.”
As the partner that manages the GMP Construction Division, Heather oversees our diverse base of construction related clients that includes commercial and residential contractors as well as specialty areas like industrial and highway construction.
Heather brings 19 years of experience to the table. Prior to coming to GMP, Heather was a shareholder in a Louisiana firm that specialized in the construction industry.
“Building long-lasting relationships is the cornerstone of my practice,” says Heather, “I come to work every day excited to make a difference.”
Heather also oversees our Client Accounting Services area and is a partner in our Audit Division.
Outside the office Heather enjoys being a mom and wife and spending time with her family. She also loves supporting her LSU Tigers. Traveling, cooking, and cheering on her kids at sporting events are some of her favorite things to do.
