Len Song
Tax Manager
GMP Tax Manager, Len, moved from Southern California to East Texas in 2003. She quotes “I love the piney woods, but I miss the beach.” Len is married to her husband, Manny, with whom she shares 2 sons ages 16 and 11, as well their golden-doodle, Timber.
Growing up Len wanted to be 3 things, and all 3 started with the letter ‘A’ – attorney, architect, and/or accountant. Len says: “Accountant made the most sense (yes, pun intended, but true nonetheless).”
Len attended the University of Texas at Tyler, earning her BA in Accounting in 2015 and MAcc degree in 2017. In the Fall of 2014, Len volunteered at the Tal Glenn Memorial Golf Tournament where she met Kris Gusa (current partner at GMP) who offered her an internship. Len comments: “She must have liked me because I was offered an internship the following spring. I have been with GMP ever since.”
Some of her hobbies consist of gardening, needlepoint, and crocheting/knitting. She is also delving into quilting, while also enjoying hiking, cycling, and reading a good book.
