Megan Williams

“I took an accounting class in high school and loved it, and that’s where it all started,” said GMP Partner Megan Williams.

What she loves today is the diversity of her work and clients. “I don’t know what will come my way when I walk in the door,” says Megan, “I love having something different to do every day. All my clients are different, and I learn something from them every day.”

Megan is a Tyler native. After graduating from UT Tyler, Megan began her career in public accounting at Gollob Morgan Peddy in 2009. Megan became a partner/officer on January 1, 2020.  As a tax partner, Megan's practice areas include oil & gas, bankruptcy and high net-worth individuals

Drinks on the patio, live music, and traveling with her husband, Carson, are some of her favorite things to do. She also spends an excessive amount of time spoiling her fur-babies, Higgins and Hans. Grateful for an incredible group of close friends, Megan ensures every birthday and momentous occasion is celebrated, and celebrated well. Megan is a Leadership Tyler alumni, having graduated with Core Class 31, and also serves as the Treasurer of the Christian Women’s Job Corp of Tyler.
